Cancellation & refunds
Cancel in one click, any time. Because we print and post real objects, what happens to a credit depends on whether it has already become mail.

Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, in one click, from your account. No email, no phone call, and nothing you have to ask us to do for you. Cancelling stops all future charges immediately — we will never charge your card again once you have cancelled.
You keep the month you have already paid for. Your subscription runs to the end of the current billing period, and any credits you have placed still go out with that period’s mail runs. Cards already printed are on their way and will still arrive.
We’ll email you a confirmation when you cancel, with the date your subscription ends.
What a credit buys
A credit is one drop from one creator: a piece of physical mail, printed and posted to the address on your account. Credits are granted at the start of each billing period and are spent when you place them on a creator. Mail goes out twice a month, on the 1st and the 15th.
Unspent credits carry into the next month — up to twice your monthly allowance, expiring three months after they were granted. Credits a creator buys with their own earnings are neither capped nor expiring. None of them have cash value: they cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for money.
Refunds
Once a card has been printed, that credit cannot be refunded. Printing and postage are paid to our production partner the moment a mailing is submitted, and the physical piece cannot be recalled. This is the one place where a subscription to physical objects genuinely differs from a subscription to a website.
Before a card is printed, we’ll make it right:
- Charged in error, or charged after cancelling. Refunded in full, no questions asked. Tell us at [email protected].
- Credits you paid for that never became mail.If a period ends and a credit produced nothing — no creator you chose published, and it was not redirected — tell us and we’ll re-credit or refund it.
- A card that failed to print. This one you don’t have to ask for. If something goes wrong at the printer we have a month to put it right and send the card late; if we still haven’t, the order is cancelled and the credit goes back into your balance automatically, and we email you to say so. It comes back in full even if your balance is already at its cap — you paid for that one.
- Mail that never arrives. If a drop does not reach you, we’ll re-credit you once non-delivery is confirmed, so you can spend it again. See below.
If something has gone wrong and none of the above quite covers it, write to us. We would rather sort it out than stand behind a policy page.
Mail that doesn’t arrive
Post goes astray. If a drop you were sent does not turn up, contact us and we’ll check it against our delivery records. Where non-delivery is confirmed and the address on file was correct, we’ll re-credit you.
We cannot re-credit mail sent to an address that was wrong or out of date on your account. Keeping your address current is the one thing we need from you that we cannot do ourselves — please update it before a mail run rather than after.
Damaged or misprinted cards
Drops are printed cheaply on purpose — they are made to be pinned up and passed on, not archived. Ordinary marks from travelling through the postal system are part of what they are. If a card arrives genuinely misprinted or damaged in a way that makes the artwork unrecognisable, send us a photo and we’ll re-credit you.
Free first drops
If you claimed a free first drop, we ask for a card but do not charge it during the free period. We’ll email you before the first charge, telling you the date and the amount. Cancel before that date and you will not be charged at all — and you keep the free card.
For creators
Creator earnings are calculated per period, held briefly to cover chargebacks, and then paid out. If a fan’s payment is reversed after their drop has been mailed, that period’s earnings are adjusted accordingly. Full terms are in the Terms of Service.
